The Symbol Collective is an intentional community, vowed together to cultivate the ways of Jesus, community, justice, and creativity within downtown Phoenix. As we share life deeply together, our intent is to be a blessing to those we live around. We each have relationships centered around our workplaces, schools, homes, and spots we frequent. We exist for these people - to care, to love and to be loved, to serve, to laugh, to enjoy, and to help them make sense of God.
As a collective, we're interested in action, frustrated with the spaces of our lives where our mouths have been bigger than our hearts or hands. Thus, we are connected by a simple set of vows to live in the ways of Jesus, community, justice, and creativity and are together developing a series of rhythms and practices that make keeping these vows a reality.
For those interested in exploring community life with us, we've established a set of pathways that allow one to explore our collective life without taking vows. This creates an inclusive space where others can explore a common life with us to see if it they too are meant for this life.
